Partners

We understand that knowing the local conditions in any culture is important to make an impact. Since we are a small organization without a global presence we team up with hand selected local organizations that will do a better job than we ever could.

We are currently in the process of identifying potential partners for our Brazil Project. Any donation will do towards supporting local organizations in Brazil that are supporting our mission and goals. Any partner organization must have an established track record and audited financial records. We envision sponsoring community workers in the same way we did with our South Africa Project.

We see our role as spreading out their message, their challenges and their success stories. We are trying to raise financial support in return for our partners documenting their work and telling our audience their story in a compelling way.

We make sure whomever we support documents their work for our supporters to see. This is an import element of our awareness creation work and also a requirement in our efforts to find sponsors.

Sonke Gender Justice Network

The Sonke Gender Justice Network engages men and boys around issues of gender, gender-based violence and HIV. The organization also works across Africa strengthening government, civil society and citizen capacity to support men and boys to take action to promote gender equality, prevent domestic and sexual violence and reduce the spread and impact of HIV and AIDS. Sonke is supported by Unesco and the Ford Foundation.

The One Man Can Campaign The One Man Can Campaign supports men and boys to take action to end domestic and sexual violence and to promote healthy, equitable relationships that men and women can enjoy — passionately, respectfully and fully. The Campaign is a partnership between the Sonke Gender Justice Network and many different local, national and international organizations.

Thohoyandou Victim Empowerment Program (TVEP) TVEP’s mission is to generate an attitude of zero tolerance towards all forms of sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse and AIDS stigmatization in the Thulamela Municipality and raise awareness for social issues surrounding HIV/AIDS by building a supportive, educational, and healing environment for the victims.
